As we continue to grow nationally, we are looking for a Property Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in identifying and securing new properties and service opportunities that support our ambitious expansion strategy.

The Role

As our Property Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and progressing property opportunities that meet operational, financial and regulatory requirements. Working closely with colleagues across Estates, Operations, Finance, and senior leadership, you will build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, develop external partnerships, and support projects through to internal approval and acquisition.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will have real influence over Liaise’s growth and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition Strategy & Delivery

  • Identify property and service acquisition opportunities aligned to Liaise’s strategic priorities.

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sites through research, networking and market intelligence.

  • Carry out early-stage feasibility reviews, financial modelling, and risk assessments to support decision-making.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, landlords, developers, care providers and commissioners.

  • Represent Liaise at sector events, meetings and networking opportunities.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the supported living sector.

Project Coordination & Governance

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess viability and support acquisition planning.

  • Coordinate internal approval processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.

  • Track milestones and ensure acquisition stages progress efficiently and in line with agreed timelines.

Integration Support

  • Support the transition of newly acquired properties and services into the Liaise portfolio.

  • Assist with communication, onboarding and operational alignment for acquired sites and teams.

  • Monitor early post-acquisition performance and support issue resolution where needed.

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential

  • Experience in property sourcing, acquisitions, business development, or architecture, ideally within health or social care.

  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and confidence with negotiation.

  • Desirable

  • Relevant qualification in business, property, architecture or finance (e.g. MRICS, MBA, ACCA).

  • Experience supporting integration of acquired services or properties.

  • Knowledge of supported living, residential care, or public sector commissioning models.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Experience supporting due diligence and project planning processes.

    Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

  • A proactive, self-starting approach with high initiative and resilience.
