Learning & Development Facilitator

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Facilitator to join our team and play a key role in shaping the skills, knowledge and confidence of our colleagues across our services.

Key Responsibilities                                             

  • Deliver our blended learning programme through virtual/webinar sessions, interactive workshops and coaching.
  • Facilitate Safer People Handling training and support colleagues to achieve competency.
  • Work closely with Operations, Homes and HR teams to ensure new colleagues receive a strong, supportive induction.
  • Help identify and address skills gaps within our Homes to reduce risk and meet the needs of the people we support.
  • Carry out observational assessments to promote best practice and evaluate learning impact.
  • Use our learning management system effectively to record, analyse and report on learning activity.

About You

  • Award/qualification in Education & Training.
  • Level 4 People Handling & Risk Assessment Key Trainers Certificate (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Strong understanding of the UK care regulatory landscape.
  • Full understanding of person-centred care.
  • Experience delivering training to both large groups and individuals.
  • Experience working with or training teams supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with LMS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident, engaging facilitator with a creative training style.
  • Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
